施設名 白池地獄

噴出時は無色透明の熱湯ですが、池に落ちて温度と圧力の低下によって、自然に淡く美しい青白色に変化します。
また、温泉熱を利用した熱帯魚館があり、アマゾンに生息するピラルクや人食魚ピラニアなど、さまざまな珍しい熱帯魚を見ることができます。こちらの泉温は95度で、ホウ酸食塩泉を含みます。
平成21年には、龍巻地獄、血の池地獄、海地獄と共に、国の名勝に指定されました。
