玖珠町の南に位置する「万年山(はねやま)」は、玖珠町の耶馬日田英彦山国定公園内にある標高1,140.3mの山で、全国的にも珍しい上下二段からなる“二重メサ”で知られています。
山頂からは、くじゅう連山、津江山系、英彦山や阿蘇火山群等、360度の展望が楽しめます。
また頂上付近にはミヤマキリシマが群生しており、5～6月には頂上一面に咲き誇ります。
