国指定史跡の「長生園（ちょうせいえん）」は、咸宜園を開塾した“広瀬淡窓”（ひろせたんそう）のが眠るお墓があります。
1856年に秋風庵にて75歳の生涯を終えた淡窓の願望により墓石が建てられ、淡窓一門の他に、淡窓から咸宜園を受け継いだ旭荘や青頓、林外、濠田などが眠っています。
閑静な住宅街の一角に並ぶ緑に囲まれた聖域は無料で開放されており、豆田町の観光スポットのひとつとして紹介されています。当時の歴史が碑石や掲示板に知るされた、貴重な場所です。
