奥山スカイライン（県道４１２号線）を竹田方面にまっすぐ行くと「里の駅 ひぐらし茶屋」があります。地元の方が持ち寄った季節野菜を販売しています。その隣にある「石畳カレー」は、ひぐらし茶屋で販売している野菜を使ったカレーです。
