九州を代表する紅葉の景勝地として知られる深耶馬溪にあるのどかな温泉地です。秋の紅葉のみならず、四季を通じて美しい景色が広がり、一目八景にある展望台からは、周囲にある八つの山々を一望することが出来ます。温泉は肌がスベスベになる「美人の湯」として知られています。休憩室からは川の巨岩等眺めることが出来ます。泉質は単純温泉（弱アルカリ性低張性温泉）で無色透明のすべすべしたお湯です。露天はかけ流しで偶数日と奇数日で男女浴場が入れ替わります。
