岳切渓谷は、耶馬渓溶結凝灰岩が造った大きな一枚岩の上を、清らかな水が流れる風光明媚な渓谷です。大飛の滝まで約2キロあり、川のせせらぎを聞きながら遊歩道を歩くことができます。
また、自然林におおわれた遊歩道は、春は新緑、秋の紅葉、夏は清流の沢歩きが大人気で、夏休みにはキャンプを楽しむ人たちで賑わいます。
キャンプ場には広場のほか、売店・釣堀が設備されています。
また、管理棟近くにある湧水場では自由に水を汲むことができ、この湧水は豊の国名水15選の一つです。
