古墳時代後期後半(6世紀)を中心に造られた集団墓です。滝尾中学校グランドの東側に崖にあり、火山層の崖に大小75穴が上下四段に並んで掘られており、遠くから見ると蜂の巣のように見えてなかなか壮観です。入口の蓋は、崩壊してすでにありませんが、墓(穴)の構造をみると正方形・長方形の平面プランがあり、天井部分がドーム形・カマボコ形・鴨居表現をもつ妻入り家形などがあります。また、床面に棺台をもつものもあります。(市指定史跡)
