市内院内町二日市の福厳寺には、あの世への入り口を表現した閻魔洞があります。入って左手に、三途の川で亡者の衣服を剥がす奪衣婆に迎えられ、入り口の左右には地獄の獄卒である牛頭馬頭があり、閻魔王を中心に、十王と不動明王、薬師如来が立ち並びます。まるであの世の裁判を体験しているかのような不思議な空間です。また、いんない石橋マップに載っている「福厳寺羅漢橋」もここにあります。院内の石橋巡りの際には、立ち寄りたいスポットです。
