養老年間に開基された泉福寺は、明治初めに廃寺となり、現在は田園の中に盛り土のようなこんもりと樹木が茂っていいる中に、泉福寺の国東塔と石風呂が残されています。石風呂は２階式となっており、１階部分で火を焚き、上側の床石を暖め、２階部分の床に石菖やヨモギなどを敷き詰め熱くなると水をかけて中をサウナ状態にした上で、中に入り身体を温めて治療したとあります。国指定重要有形民俗文化財となっています。
